The 2019 fuel mix disclosure report has been released by the Austrian government agency E-Control, detailing the statistics and trends in electricity labeling for 2018 in Austria.
Of the 68.83 TWh of electricity delivered over Austrian networks in 2018, 84% was labelled and has associated GOs. Imported GOs comprised 31% of the total, up from 26% the previous year.
The percentage renewable energy in the Austrian supplier mix was 76.6% in 2018, down from 83.7% in 2017. However, a decline in the fossil fuel mix was also noted (16%, down from 23% in 2017).
